2024: FROM GLORY TO GLORY BY THE SPIRIT

As we begin the journey of another great year with God - the year 2024, I believe we have all experienced the goodness and faithfulness of God during the year 2023, having diverse testimonies and recording many victories indeed by the hand of God...
đź“–2 Corinthians 3:18 (TPT) says "We can all draw close to Him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the LORD Jesus. We are being transfigured into His very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the LORD, Who is the Spirit."
This Bible verse highlights our primary focus in the year 2024... It is important for us to always keep in mind that in our brief time on Earth as compared to Eternity, God's greatest desire is beyond just giving us the things we need to enjoy our life on Earth, but for us to make continuous progress in our walk with Him and to grow daily into the likeness and character of Jesus Christ His First Born Son, even as He prepares us for what He has in stock for us in Eternity...
The journey towards glorification is a life-long one that continues until the day when our present imperfect bodies are transfigured into the same kind of flawless, ageless, limitless, infallible, incorruptible, and immortal body that Jesus has today in Heaven... However, while we still exist here in flesh and blood, even though perfection may seem unattainable to us, God expects us to make significant progress daily in revealing His nature, because the same Holy Spirit which Jesus Christ had while He was on Earth dwells within us now...
đź“–Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT) says: "But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, He will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."
These 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit are the primary indicators of true spiritual growth; every other indices are secondary. The more these virtues are reflected in our lives, the more Christ-like we are, and the more we can win the lost to Christ through our lifestyle... You may wish to carry out a sincere self-examination in light of the events of your life in the past year, considering your actions and reactions, and determine in what areas you need to work on and depend on the Holy Spirit for help to grow...
And as we keep pace with the Holy Spirit daily this year, yielding to obey His voice at all times; and as we keep beholding God's glory through the Scriptures, allowing His Spirit to change and transform us while we learn from the life of Jesus Christ our Master; And as we keep engaging in spiritually edifying activities consistently, I am certain that we will look back by the end of the year 2024 and be thankful for how much progress we have made in our quest to become more like Jesus in character and conduct, and likewise in every other areas of our lives...
đź“–Proverbs 4:18 (TPT) says: "But the lovers of God walk on the highway of light, and their way shines brighter and brighter until they bring forth the perfect day."
I pray for you, this year you shall make tremendous progress; spiritually, and in all other ramifications... I pray that shame, setbacks, and stagnation are not your portion this year... The grace you need to run this year's race and end it well is released upon you... The Holy Spirit of God will lead and guide you daily towards His perfect will in every decision and in every action you take this year... in Jesus' name... Amen!🙏🏻
