2025: FASHIONED FOR HIS GLORY
Calvary Greetings and Happy New Year to you all dear members and followers of
The GLORY PLACE.
I have no doubt that every one of us has experienced God's goodness and mercies
throughout the year 2024 and we have also achieved growth and made significant progress in various aspects of
our lives as the year 2024 theme says "From Glory to Glory by the
Spirit"...
I am equally sure that we are all poised and geared up to face the new year
with re-enforced faith, renewed hope, and a re-kindled passion, even as we keep
running this race with our eyes on Jesus and banking on the Holy Spirit our
Great Helper...
I gladly and excitingly welcome you to the year 2025 and I congratulate you
greatly for making it here alive and well...
Regarding our watchword for the year 2025...
The Psalmist wrote:
📖"Your
hands have made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, that I may learn
Your commandments. Those who fear You will be glad when they see me, Because I
have hoped in Your word." Psalms 119:73-74 (NKJV)
Our theme for this year reminds us again that God is our Maker and we are all
in an on-going making process in our Christian race; likened to a potter's
house where God is the Potter and we are the clay with which He makes His
vessels... It is also a reminder that God is our Repairer, Restorer, Refiner,
and the Beautifier of our lives, no matter what our current state or situation
may be...
We must always keep in mind that God's ultimate aim in all the work He is doing
within us and with us is to bring glory to His name through our lives;
eventhough His making process often entails mixed seasons of ups and downs,
joys and pains, gains and losses, and so on...
Yes our lives may sometimes seem messy like the potter's house and our making
process may sometimes seem long, stressful, and strenuous like the process the
potter goes through in shaping his creations; But then the beauty of the
end-product would always justify the efforts and outweigh the pains endured
during the process, just like gold comes out purified after passing through
fire...
God is making beauty out of your life and out of the lives of every true
Believer in Christ... Because the more we are beautified, the more He is
glorified...
We must however never forget that every good thing or blessing we have or will
receive this year and beyond, be it wealth, influence, power, beauty, talent,
gifts, abilities, experiences, and so on; they all come from God out of His
mercy and benevolence, and as such we must consistently return the glory to Him
and point others to the Great Potter when they admire and desire His handiwork
in our lives...
God speaking in His Word said: 📖"This people I have
formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise." Isaiah 43:21 (NKJV)...
And Jesus speaking said: 📖"Let your light so
shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in
heaven." Matthew 5:16 (NKJV)
Furthermore, in today's fast-paced and impatient world, with many pressures and many
options presenting themselves, we must choose to remain resolute in our faith
and confidence in God and choose to patiently submit to His dealings in every
season, knowing that everything God does with us or allows in our lives is
ultimately for our growth and our good...
The Scriptures speaking prophetically about Jesus says that He came: 📖"...To give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3 (NKJV)
So I pray for you: "May your God beautify your life; May He bring
beauty out of your ashes and make a wonder out of you to the
glory of His name... May the LORD your Maker work on you and work through you by the power of His Holy Spirit; And may men see and know that indeed your God lives...
Throughout the months of this year may the hand of the LORD be greatly upon you and
upon all you do... You shall fulfill and accomplish all His plans and purposes for your life in this season; in Jesus' name... Amen!"🙏🏻
The GLORY PLACE welcomes you once again to the year 2025...
Go forth as the light that you are and let your world see the glory of your
God, for indeed you have been 'FASHIONED FOR HIS GLORY'!
